The Maxafe EggBall has a unique egg shape that provides a larger contact base with the floor, which increases stability during use. The egg shape also allows two people to sit on the EggBall at once. It's egg shape also provides added stability during side-to-side movements, which is particularly helpful during those last few months of pregnancy because you will not have to use as much balancing energy to keep from rolling off the ball.
The Maxafe EggBall is incredibly strong and is made with a patented Flexton Slipower (tm) material. This technologically advanced material allows the ball to slowly deflate in case it is punctured, which means added safety to you and your unborn baby.
The anti-burst EggBall is also an ideal solution for easing the pressures and discomfort of labor because it enables freedom of movement while creating a supported squatting position, which helps encourage the baby to move farther down the pelvis. Many women find a birth ball such as the Maxafe EggBall is the most comfortable thing to sit on, and get up from, during her last few weeks of pregnancy. After the baby arrives and you are ready to get back into shape, the Maxafe EggBall is a fantastic way to encourage core strength and can be used as an exercise ball for body toning, yoga and pilates.
To make sure you get the full potential and maximum life from the Maxafe EggBall, only inflate it to approximately 80-percent of the capacity for about the first week of use. After that, inflate it to full firmness, but allow some room for "give". Due to its patented Flexton Slipower (tm) material the EggBall will slowly deflate, not pop, if it is punctured. For best results, do not leave your Maxafe EggBall in high temperatures or next to heating elements like a fireplace.
Sizing
If your height is close to the next size using the chart below, be sure to order the larger size as the ball can always be slightly under inflated. This is especially true when carrying extra weight during pregnancy.
| Ball Size | Your Height |
| 55 cm (21") | 4'8" to 5'3" |
| 65 cm (25") | 5'3" to 6'0" |
| 85 cm (29") | 6'0" to 6'7" |
Chart is intended for general guidelines only. Please consult your therapist or trainer for your specific needs. If your height is between the specifications, you may need the larger size if you have long legs or carry extra weight for your height. If there is doubt, a larger ball is recommended because it can be slightly under inflated.
