Perfect for shopping, walks in the park, visits with family, household chores, or general errands, the cotton fabric of the Bub Snug Cotton Sling offers a beautiful pattern and is machine washable. These reversible slings have an invisible pocket hidden in the seam that is big enough to hold your phone, keys, or other items.
The BubSnug pouch caters to several different positions for baby. It can be used as a sling and a hip carrier. The BubSnug pouch also makes a great baby blanket, changing pad or breastfeeding cover. Crafted of only the highest quality fabrics, this carrier has no exposed seams or edges and is reinforced for added safety. It's the perfect pouch carrier that replicates the womb environment and provides safety for baby and freedom for you.
Sizing:
Follow the sizing chart to get the correct size. T-shirt size and approximate height is sufficient. For a very accurate measurement get your shoulder to hip measurement using a soft tape measure. Take tape from the outer edge of one shoulder (where your t-shirt seam meets) across your belly to the opposite hipbone. Your hipbone will be close to level with your belly button. This measurement is in inches and should be in the 20's. Your measurement should fall close to your t-shirt size on our sizing chart. It may be slightly different due to your torso length.

Shrinkage: These slings will shrink approximately 1" when washed and dried on medium heat. They are sized to accommodate for this. Do not order a larger size to accommodate this shrinking.
Measurement: To get your shoulder to hip measurement, use a soft tape measure. Take tape from the outer edge of one shoulder (where your t-shirt seam meets) across your belly to the opposite hipbone. Your hipbone will be close to level with your belly button. This measurement is in inches and should be in the 20’s. Your measurement should fall close to your clothing size on our sizing chart. It may be slightly different due to your torso length. Get the size that fits your shoulder to hip measurement. Remember the pouch needs to fit the wearer NOT the baby.
Where should I carry my weight? The width around your torso affects how the pouch will fit. If you tend to carry most of your weight around your torso then you should lean towards a bigger size.
What if I have broad shoulders or a large chest? If you do you may require a larger size pouch. People with narrow shoulders may want to consider a smaller size.
What if I'm pregnant? Congratulations! If you are purchasing the baby pouch while pregnant please keep in mind that the pouch will not fit properly until after you've had your baby. Your shoulder to hip measurement will not be accurate when pregnant. If deciding a size whilst your showing you can have someone help you take the correct measurement. They can take the same shoulder to hip measurement across your back. Make sure they come all the way around to your hipbone.
Switching to the Hip Carry: Contrary to popular belief switching to the hip carry with a bigger baby actually takes less room in the pouch. If you feel your beloved pouch is a little too big now, we have a tip for you. You can pull the top layer of fabric on your shoulder away from your neck towards your outer shoulder this will give baby added snugness. It also looks great showing the reversible side to your BubSnug.
